Ok, look, this is a bit early. But maybe reading this is the only thing early about your Christmas preparation, and you’ve not started yet.
Now, the good news is there are still four shopping days to go.
If you hit the high street.
Yep, that’s probably the bad news. Most websites will now be closed for delivery of physical presents. so now you’re left with the decision: face the crowds or do it from home. Now, Christmas in stores can be fun. Everyone jolly, full of festive spirit. I love working in store at Christmas (look out Christmas Eve shoppers, I’ll be on the shop floor) and love a bit of festive banter.
It can also be complete hell. Parking is my particular pet hat (love a Park and Ride). So if I didn’t work for a retailer, and love being there, I’d be quite tempted to do what I could from home. Just don’t expect to have loads of gifts to handover on the day. But if you need some help, then you can see my last minute at home shopping tips here, or the full-on adrenaline of really last minute shopping. On your way home on Christmas Eve through the major transport hubs.
Though this is still my favourite last minute shopping advert ever. Do try to avoid this!
