We’re coming to the end of Great British Beef Week for this year, but given it’s Sunday tomorrow, then beef might well be on the menu. But if you want to find something different to do with it, then here are 10 favourites that I’ve gathered on Pinterest:

Crockpot braised beef ragu with polenta

Now, if this isn’t perfect for the way the weather has turned, then I don’t know what is. Lovely sounding dish from Pinch of Yum

We may not get much sunshine this weekend, but you can bring some sunshine flavours into your home with this dish from Sweet Peas and Saffron

Balsamic roast beef

If you can’t decide what to make, make this! Always empty plates, always thank you notes when I pass on this recipe, and always need to freeze any leftovers straight away. Otherwise there aren’t any for long. Fabulous recipe from Add a Pinch.

Low carb beef stroganoff meatballs

I love the sound of these, sound completely indulgent, but this recipe is low carb and gluten free, from I Breathe, I’m Hungry.

Not such a leisurely Sunday? Try this quick Korean beef from Love Bakes Good Cakes.

Beef Shin Stew with Parmesan Dumplings

Another long slow cook needed for this one, not very spring like, but sounds delicious, thanks to the Simply Delicious website.

Skirt steak with chimichurri sauce

Definitely something different in terms of flavours, although thankfully skirt is becoming more widely available. Recipe from Bon Appétit.

Spicy Asian marinated flank steak

Sounds delicious, and pretty simple to put together. Good advice on the best way to slice it too, from Parsley Sage Sweet.

Beefy Hashbrown Casserole

This one might be more for Monday night than Sunday lunchtime, and does rely on some leftovers! But sounds delicious, thanks to Frugal Family Favourites.

I love crispy beef at the Chinese, and this is a good standby to make it home, thanks to Table for Two.

Please get out and support your local butcher or farm shop and find good local beef. A couple of these call for more interesting cuts that you might not find in the supermarket but I bet the butcher will have for you. For me, then I’d be off to Harker’s Farm Shop. Fabulous beef, and their sausages are always worth stocking up on.
