I’ve written before about how much I love fragrance, and that there are similarities between cooking and creating great fragrances. This latest one is right up my street, as Jo Malone’s latest is Earl Grey & Cucumber.
I can see this being my go to summer fragrance, with the light fizz of the bergamot and then the watery coolness of the cucumber note. Is there a more delightful image to conjure up on a wet cold night than to think of having cucumber sandwiches and a cup of Earl Grey in some shady nook outside, escaping the heat of the summer sun.
Well, a girl can dream. And in the meantime, wearing the fragrance might bring a touch of summertime to winter.
