Who knew?
Having written yesterday’s list of celeb non-chef type cookbooks and writing, I realised late in the day there was a glaring omission. On a rare trip to W H Smith I had time to browse their food and drink section and there, on the bottom shelf but still full price, was this gem!
Who knew? Those of us who thought that all those year’s of playing Ricky might have just left Sid with a taste for fish and chips or the menu of the caff are very wrong. According to Amazon, the book is something of a revelation. I think I’d already got that from just it’s existence!
He even owned a restaurant in France for a while, but sadly that’s off the gourmet trail now he’s back in Eastenders. Let’s just hope he cooks better than he sings.
