Hands up for a cocktail?
Yes, me too!
And Dorset Moonshine brings you recipes from Dorset’s very best bartenders, using the best of the new crop of spirits being distilled in the county. From Liberty Fields vodka to Lilliput Dorset Gin, there’s really some great stuff going on.
This was the idea of local photographer, Richard Budd, who took the stunning photos. Each bartender recommended the next so there are interesting tales to be told, and good drinking to be enjoyed.
At home or bar crawl?
The choice is yours, as there are easy to follow instructions for each drink. You’ll find plenty of variety, regardless of your spirit of choice.
I have to admit to more than a passing (although not financial) interest in this book, as I contributed an article to it. Yes, there’s more than a small passing mention of gin.
Fancy a copy?
For a physical copy, then you’ll need to start a bar and restaurant crawl around Dorset. It’s available to pick up for free, keep an eye out for it. I know that The Anchor Inn at Seatown has definitely had their delivery. Alternatively, if you’re not in the county or want to plan your trip, you can download a copy here.
Then get ready for happy hour!
