I’ve made different food resolutions over the year, with varying degrees of success. When I look back at the resolutions I made in 2010, then I can see some of those continuing for years to come. I mean, wasting less food has to be a resolution for all of us, all the time.
Using my cookbooks. Hmm, well, as I wrote about a couple of days ago, I do use mine, but possibly not as much as I should. And I possibly don’t use them enough to warrant the rate of new ones arriving on the shelf! But I’m working on a plan on this, more to follow.
I’ve certainly tried new stuff over 2013, and would hope to continue that every year. 2013 was all about the slow cooker, so who knows what 2014 have in store. Eating out for the taste not the glory was definitely still the mantra and always will be. Though having eaten at Burger & Lobster perhaps I have to renounce my claim on that one!
I really did fail on the growing more front. There’s a serious amount of rosemary taking over the herb “bed” and this is one area I really want to work on. I don’t somehow think that three pots of herbs on the windowsill in the kitchen really counts!
Are you making any food resolutions this year? Or did you keep any last year? Love to know.
